Flower Girl Wagons | North Carolina Wedding Planner

One popular trend that I love is wagons for flower girls (or ring bearers) that are too small to walk.  There are so many creative ways to decorate these simple wagons to fit the theme and color scheme of your wedding day and they add such a whimisical element to your wedding ceremony.

While searching for inspiration for our Wednesday posts, I have come across so many adorable wagons and I thought today was the perfect time to share those with you. Enjoy!!

Design Elements {Ombre} | North Carolina Wedding Planner

A romantic ombre design is one of the hottest trends right now; everything from wedding cakes to bridesmaid dresses and invitations. It is reminiscent of watercolors and adds spectacular charm to any wedding. It is very simple to incorporate this trend into your wedding theme with the simple use of varying shades of color.

Ombre is a french term that represents the appearance of tones, with colors graduating from light to dark. It’s a simple concept but with a dramatic impression, which explains the ombre wedding trend.

Here are some of our favorite ombre wedding ideas to get you started. Don't forget that you can follow us on Pinterest for even more inspiration.

In the United States, there is no law or religious dictate that says the bride must take the groom’s last name. However, approximately 70% of Americans agree that a bride should change her last name.

Design Element {Pearl} | North Carolina Wedding Planner

In ancient Rome, the pearl was the ultimate symbol of wealth and social standing, while the ancient Greeks associated the pearl with love, marriage, and unrivaled beauty. The Greeks also believed that the pearl would promote marital harmony. Even today, pearls are still worn by royalty, especially at wedding. Queen Elizabeth II wore them at her wedding in 1947 and Jacqueline Kennedy wore a strand on her wedding day.

It's no wonder pearls are so popular for weddings, but did you know that they can be used for much more than jewelry? Check out some of our favorite (and creative) uses for pearls at weddings.
