Questions To Ask Before Marriage: Miscellaneous | North Carolina Wedding Planner

It is so very important for couples to communicate during marriage, but even more so before they take a walk down the aisle. Over the next few weeks we're going to explore some important questions to discuss with your future spouse before your big day.


Today's Topic: Miscellaneous Questions

Are you closer to your mother or father? Why?

What influence, if any, do you believe my family should have on our relationship?

Is there anyone close to you who feels we should not get married? Why?

Do you believe that our parents should know our financial condition, whether good or bad? How far should this go?

How would you rank all of the priorities in your life: work, school, family, spouse, friends, hobbies, and church? Does your ranking reflect the amount of time you spend on each?

Do you prefer a set daily work schedule or flexible work activities and timetables?

Do you like pets?

What do you fear?

How do you feel about having guns in our home?

Do you harbor any racial prejudice?

How would you react if our son or daughter told us they were gay?

What are your views on pornography?

What health problems do you have?

Have you ever had any psychological problems?
